Welcome to God's Healing Word Blog

Greetings In Christ,
As a people, Christians are sorry lot to look upon. The Bible plainly teaches that physical, emotional, and spiritual healing is available through Jesus Christ. And yet, when you survey most Christian congregations, the number of "saints" with chronic illness, is about the same as those chronically ill outside of the Body of Christ. Is it any wonder most church pews are empty come Sunday morning?
Truth is, Christians today are caught in a kind of vise that squeezes and tests their faith. One side of the vise is God's Holy Word, from which our faith is derived. The other side of the vise is Church Doctrine, which in most cases teaches adherents that God has ended divine healing in the Church.
So it should come as no surprise that millions of people of faith abandon their faith in God to heal, and leave the Church altogether. Also, it is no surprise that Church leaders urge those in their flock who are sick to consult with a secular physician, without a thought of directing them to God first.
As the author of God's healing Word, it has become my passion to put God back into healing, and healing back into the Church. I hope you will join me.
You may have been hurt spiritually by you Church. You may wish to work to educate leaders in your church on what the Bible teaches about physical healing. Or you may just want to fellowship with others whose faith in God to heal is strong. Whatever the case, welcome to this public message forum.
Feel free to post a new message, or post a reply to an existing message.
Many blessings,

Hello Jim,

Thank you for drawing my attention to your book.

As an author on the subject of christian prayer and healing principles I always find it interesting to read what others are writing on the subject. It is interesting to see similarities and differences of opinion between believers.

When writing Something's On The Boil - A Discovery Of Prayer And Healing, I was writing it with the uniformed christian in mind. To my surprise I find that the most interested readers are non christians who nevertheless "believe". It's almost paradoxical. I have found that the concept of praying for healing and the idea that Jesus heals is in actual fact great news to seekers. In fact it is probably exactly who the gift of healing was for. This only enhances The Glory of Jesus Christ.

Once again , thank you for your book.

Hi, I probably best fit what Josephus calls "non christians who nevertheless "believe".
Actually, I don't have a problem with God, Christ and the Holy Ghost, I have one with organized religion, especially the ones who speak of a vengeful God and are fear based.

God is ALL loving and I am one of his beloved children. I believe that God has given us free will and consciously or subconsciously we attract experiences into our lives which at times we do not understand. God has given us everything to lead joyful, abundant lives. When we do not have that in our lives, it is because we do not choose to live that way. That might be tough to accept, but I believe it to be so.

Here is what happened to me: A good number of years ago there was a lot of stress in my life and I fell ill with cancer. The day the doctor gave me her "verdict" and urged me to be back next day for surgery I chose to take a ride into the mountains and then just walked and walked miles and miles from where I'd left my car. I went there with the intention to end it all that very afternoon.

Having reached a ridge I sat down and contemplated on my life and of course asked the usual "Why me?"
Then, I just sat and waited for the moment I'd take my flying leap.
Instead of feeling sorry for myself I began to delight in the splendor of the scenery, the rugged peaks and the setting sun. It was gorgeous. I thought of my teenage children and my husband and how awful it would be for them to not know at first where I was and eventually somebody to find my shattered remains. I prayed, I talked to God, really talked to him like I never had before.

Then, almost dark now, I had probably the most profound feeling I ever had in my life. I KNEW this was not the end. I KNEW that Divine love enfolded me and almost like a parent might give a little pat to a child's back, telling it to run along now, I felt the pat. I was ready to go home and although it was pitch dark, my feet were floating down the mountain to my car. I'm sure I was carried as I didn't even once stumble on this three to four mile long rugged mountain trail.

I drove home and decided not to see the doctor again. The next miracle came when the day after, the first issue of a newsletter arrived which had in it a "cure" for the very cancer I was diagnosed with. This was so amazing and so simple and even better, so effective.

Since, I've met wonderful people who have had similar experiences. I've met Jim through the essential oils we both love and have seen more miracles and many of them came about when people chose to deeply feel a need for a loving God and connect to HIM not from fear but from love.

God's healing can be accessed anywhere but most of all it should be part of religious services as there, energized by a loving congregation, even greater healing can take place.
Wishing you all LOVE.
Margarete
PS: Ron I'm praying for and with you.

Hey Jim,

Thanks for opening up peoples' eyes to the insidious nature of the system - gone far astray. I appreciate it

Talking about healing prayer. I have recently created a site that has been built so share how God is healing in our midst. Anyone reading this please share your experiences, answers to prayers and miracles you have witnessed. Please. I would love it to be an encouragement to Christians and Non-Chrsitians alike.
